My first wedding cake

Ok, so this last weekend I did my first wedding cake! I did not actually get to assemble it, because it was an outside wedding and they were afraid it would melt if it set outside. Anyway, here are the pictures. It was A LOT of fun but A LOT of work! I made all the flowers by hand. The flowers are in order by the 3 layers. The last pic is just pic of the flowers I made. Anyway, tell me what you guys think!:0)

I thought I was past all of this!

So I took Joe to Ft. Sill on Monday for a 9 week drill Sgt school. I am so sad. For some reason this 9 weeks is a little hard on me. I sat at Ft. Sill for 4 and 1/2 hours in the heat waiting for Joe to come and get his stuff out of the car... I was miserable.
Anyway, I am going to be a little lonely the next 9 weeks so I could use my peeps to keep my spirits up!:0)

Rain, Rain go away!

It is raining a lot here. In 2 hours it rained 5 inches. There is SO MUCH water everywhere. Our back yard looks like a lake. It's crazy!
