So this past Friday(the 17th) I celebrated birthday number 27. I thought "eh just another day!" I was hoping that Joe would be home for it, if not we would celebrate it late. He DID come home for my birthday! I got woken up from my nap after work to a gorgeous man in ACUs carrying a dozen red roses!:0) My kids at school sang to me about 10 times that day. It was cute though. So I got to thinking...what is so great about turning 27??? Well I figured two things. I am hoping to graduate at 29...so I am 2 years from graduation( roughly!) and I want to be a mommy at 30...so I am another year closer to that goal too!:0) Overall it was a great birthday and I cannot wait for next years 363 days from now!

Happy Birthday!! I'm so glad that Joe made it home in time for it! Did you do anything special? :-) I thought about you on Friday. I wanted to call you, but we were in Destin and my phone died, so I couldn't get your number. Oh well! Anyway, how's the new job working out?
