UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Ok, so no EColi or salmonella....they think now that it is my gallbladder. I go on Friday for an ultrasound and some fluid test thing. The doc says if there is even one gal stone out it comes......So......still in pain and now have to wait to find out anything. I think now is the time that God chose to teach me about patience.

Wish me luck...

Rox
PS... I need all my FRG leader friends to help me! More about this tomorrow!

WOW!!! It's been a LONG time!

OK so my last blog was in May. Let's catch up to now. Joe is gone, have seen him a few times. Cut hair off, going to summer school and working. Oh Crap it's catching up to me! Moved down the street to a new house. Still not completely unpacked. Do not feel like it and too tired after work and school. Pains in legs...scare...NO blood clot but still hurts...??? There....all caught up!
Let's talk about my weekend. I have felt bad ever since about July 5Th(last weekend). Cramping stomach and loose stools(sorry if that grosses anyone out).
Went to the doc for follow up on legs on Thursday and mention stomach not feeling well. Doc says probably a bug and ignores it. The next day at work doubled over in pain, sweating, clammy and sharp stomach pains. My friend forces me to go to the ER. Get in right a way...only to sit in a room for a hour before a doc will see me. GREAT! Quick belly exam..nothings wrong...here's some stomach cramping meds and away I go. Saturday and Sunday feel AWFUL and nothing has changed. Joe tells me last night to go back. Afterall...we do have tricare at the moment! So I go back. This time I am again seen right away, BUT this time. They do a urine sample, stool sample, IV, blood work and pain meds through an IV. OK...NOW we are getting some where! They actually listened this time. The stool and blood both showed my white blood cell count was high. They had to send the stool off for more testing and now they are looking at possible E Coli or Salmonella. So.....after being told it would be ready today.... IT'S NOT and I have to wait and call the doc tomorrow. All the wile I do not feel any better and they have not given me any real drugs yet until they figure out what it is.....so I am still in pain. So, please say a little prayer for me and hope that I get some answers tomorrow.
Good night all

NO WAY

I went out of town with my daycare today. We went to OKC about an hour away. When I left the gift shop with the kids and a teacher told me the other two vans left already. RULE #1 Stay together at all times.
So we get in the van to leave and a child tells me that she has no seat. Since the other school left their teacher I am now one seat short. I called the daycare and informed them that they needed to contact the other van. I needed them to turn around so I could put a kid on their van. 45 MINUTES LATER.....they are back! GREAT so now we are REALLY late and there are parents waiting at the school for their kids. I get back only to be told by the director of the other school(there are 3 schools) that "I should have just double buckled and come on. I do it all the time". WHAT??????? (excuse language) ARE YOU F*&^%^& KIDDING ME?????? I am going to be driving 75 miles per hour on an interstate and you want me to just double buckle them??
I told her I was NOT OK with that and I was not going to do that. I informed her that I could have had a wreck or been pulled over and that I was not going to take that chance. She said well I have angry parents that had to wait on their kids. HOW MAD DO YOU THINK THEY WOULD BE IF THEY KNEW YOU HAD TOO MANY KIDS ON A VAN AND YOU DOUBLE BUCKLED THEIR KID?????????????

To make matters worse they laughed at the vans that left me and they received to reprimand for their actions.

I am in a BAD mood now. I cannot even believe that they truly wanted me to do that.

Just call me the queen B

OK so there is a place here in stillwater called the botanical gardens. It's an amazing garden that people from all over the place have come to help make it pretty. I went the other day with my friend and her 2 kids, plus a neighbor kid. OOOHHHHH MMMMYYYYYY GGGOOOOSSSHHHHH!!!! I do not remember being that embarrassed in a long time. OK get a picture in your head it's a nice quiet peaceful place. Lots of flowers, ponds, walkways, etc. She just tells the kids "Go Run" and they take off terrorizing through this place. Off the pathways climbing on things, out of control. I tell them "hey guys stay on the pathways and be respectful". She says
"No it's fine...they are kids". I quietly bite my tongue and just go on looking. We look for a little longer and then the kid is climbing the rocks of the pond. The lady in control finally comes and tells them to get down and stay on the pathways. She apologizes and looks dumb founded that they told her kids to stop. We look a few minutes more and then the kid takes off out the back of the place into an open field. She just lets him keep running until you can barely see him anymore. I call them back because we do not know what is back there plus it's rude, plus I am not comfortable with it all. He comes back up with sister(who is crying because he beat her at running). I tell him come on let's finish the tour of the garden and then we can go to a park and play. He tells me "NO" I do not want to. I say " Come on we are almost done, we can hurry and be done". He says" No, I do what I want and you cannot stop me". MIND YOU THIS WHOLE TIME THE MOM IS JUST STANDING THERE. I say Chris(name change) let's just do what the group wants and then we can go have fun. He then proceeds to tell me to" Shut up that he is not listening, I am not his boss, and I will not tell him what to do". I LOST it!! I flipped out! I told him that if he were my child I would slap the shit out of him. That it is NOT OK to talk to any adult that way. I told him that my child would never be disrespectful to me and NOT act that way in public. I just left. I told him that he ruined any fun I was having and I was not going to be treated that way.

I got in my car and drove home.
My friend will not talk to me. She says that he's just a kid and to go easy on him. EXCUSE ME???????? He does not need a best friend right now. He needs a PARENT. If she does not get a lid on that now can you imagine what he is going to be like as a teenager??
He was in the principles office weekly at school, now I know why.

I am sorry but I am not going to be around someone that lets their kids talk that way.
Any of you let your kids do that?? Am I crazy for believing they should mind and behave in public??

World War II America (Battle Hymn of the Republic)

In honor of Memorial Day I wanted to post this video. Being a military wife it moved me to tears. I get an overwhelming sense of pride when I hear songs like this. God Bless those who have gone before us and paid the ultimate sacrifice. I appreciate all of our troops. Thank you for fighting for this beautiful country.

Are you kidding me??

I know Joe just left on Monday and I am sure there is stuff to do before they get troops in late July...BUT.... He does not get Monday or Tuesday off. Isn't Memorial Day a day to honor those in our military?? Those who serve now and those that have gone before them?? I was completely blown away when Joe said he has to work on a Federal Holiday. Ft. Sill cannot stop what they are doing for one day?? He said he has had 1/2 days since he got there. Could they not work a few full days to allow time to be off?? Oh wait...that's common sense.

Sorry just rambling...but I just was annoyed by the situation.
Hope everyone has a fun and safe Memorial Day Weekend. Don't forget to take a moment to honor those who have gone before us.

Hurry up 6 months!

Joe left yesterday.:0( It was a hard day yesterday. I cried a lot. Sure I have done this before, but things are really good right now. We are both in school. We are happy and things are good. It's pretty easy to send you hubby away to the field when you are annoyed by them, but this time I did not want him to go.
He was pretty sad too. He said he's gonna miss me and our cat a lot. He called last night. He said his hotel room is nice. He still sounded pretty sad.
These 6 months better FLY by!

Finals are OVER!!!

I finished up Thursday and Joe finished on Friday. I am SSSOOOOOO glad! School is getting on my nerves! I am kinda sick of it....not looking forward to summer school. I think it partly has to do with Joe being called back up and me moving to our new house here. Just in a BLAH state right now! only 15 more days with Joe. :0..(

Here we go again....

So as most of you know, Joe is in the reserves. He is a Drill Sgt and only does his one weekend a month thing. Well that was until now. Joe is being called up to active duty for 6 months to a year.:0( He will be stationed in Lawton(Ft. Sill) and I will stay here in Stillwater. I am not moving 1) because we do not know exactly how long he will be there 2) If I go I will just delay school again and I am not wanting to do that 3) If I did go I would never see him anyway, so I am staying here. He's trying to get me to think positive. He says we will make some money and free health care. OK...although those sound great...I am still going to miss him a lot though. So he will be leaving May 19th. Feel free ladies to send all cheer ups my way that day!;0)

My love for my Dyson

So as some of you know, I purchased a Dyson Animal(the purple one)Vacuum back in May of 2005. It is hands down the BEST vacuum on the planet! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! If you do not have one I seriously urge you to get one! Sell a kid(just kidding!) or a kidney, charge it on the Star Card.....whatever!
So, why do I love it so much you ask? Well It has a 30 ft hose so you can leave it at the bottom of the stairs and go all the way up. It cleans the ceiling and there are a lot of cool attachments. It helps me with both my allergies and asthma.
I attached a picture to show you. I vacuum once a week. I emptied the canister before I vacuumed. The picture is of JUST MY LIVING ROOM!!! There is just the 2 of us and my cat....now imagine if there were more of us how much worse it would be!
So....if your in the mood for a new vacuum I have one I suggest!:0)
Have a great week!

Just Venting....

So I am in line to check out at Wal-mart last night and I was floored by what I heard a college girl say. Her and her 2 friends are checking out...they buy a lot of crap and the last one bought the beer( Probably the only one that was 21). The one in front of the beer girl checks out and goes to pay for it. She very loudly says " You know my dad is getting upset about me always using his credit card for everything". So the one buying the beer says" So why don't you just get a job?" The girl replied" Eww gross...I don't do work." ARE YOU (INSERT BAD WORD!!) KIDDING ME??? Who does that? That girl should have been slapped right then and there. She has no idea how hard people work , probably so they can pay off her credit card. She has no clue what reality is and when that day comes, boy do I feel sorry for her.

Vacation was (almost)perfect!!!:0)

So as you know we went to Summit Point, WV for 10 days. 2 of the days we rode a train into DC. I loved DC it was great! We saw a lot of cool stuff and had a blast! On day 2(March 19Th) we came out of the national archives to a bunch of war protesters out side the building. Talk about VERY uncomfortable...I got teary eyed 1) because I was very sad too see upside down flags and to read what they said 2) because they were everywhere and made me feel uncomfortable. The look on Joe's face said a lot to me....he was angry. We finally walked out in the middle of the street because there were cops everywhere blocking the street. About 10 minutes later it started DOWN POURING!!! About the time our bus headed into Arlington Cemetery. I just laughed because I thought in some small way it was God trying to send the protesters home! (Probably not, but I want to think it). It rained the rest of the day too. So...here we are at Arlington with NO umbrellas or jacket. We were soaked!!! Drenched and cold! We were there for like 3 hours or so. About 3/4 of the way being done a security guard says" hey you know they sell ponchos in the gift shop...right?" So we went and got them because we still wanted to walk to Iwo Jima. It did a little good. I was able to keep the camera dry and my arms!
We were going to the Smithsonian after that, but since we were wet and cold...we found a local brewery instead and drank beer to warm up!:0) Then we went shopping in union station and got on the train for home.

It was a LONG drive (19 hours) but totally worth it!
I will post more later....too sleepy!!!!

We got a new car!!

Here are some pics of our new car. We went to Enid (my hometown) tonight and picked it up. The first one is Joe and my dad talking about the car. The second is the front and the last is the side view(and my mom in the background). This is the first car I have had with a sun roof and power windows and locks. I am SUPER EXCITED!!!:0) It gets 35 MPG on the highway so our trip to DC(yes Jen you guessed right!) will be great on gas.
DC here we come!!

We're moving this summer!!!!

We have been looking for a new rental house for a while because we are unhappy with our current house and the lease will be up this summer. Being in a college town you would think it would be easy to find a house right?? WRONG!! The houses we have looked at have been WAY too small(after being married for 5 years you accumulate a lot of crap!) or the houses are ghetto and about to fall apart. In both cases they are RIDICULOUSLY over priced!!
There is a house right down the street( 5 houses away) that put a rent sign up a few weeks ago. I got the number and thought "eh- what can it hurt?" I called and talked to the landlord and found out somethings about the house. Due to funerals and being gone 2 weekends in a row it took us a while to go and see the house. We went on Saturday afternoon to go see it. The minute I walked in I knew it was the place for us!:0) It's SO pretty and unlike my current house, has been maintained and the appliances have been updated. It is such a nicer house and only $50.00 more than we are paying now. It's So worth the pay increase. The new house has the laundry room inside, which is the best feature to me! In our current house it's out in the garage.
Anyway, I am SUPER excited and I cannot wait to start some what packing!! Being so close I can just load up the car and unload in a few minutes.
Well I better run...gotta go finish the laundry...leaving on Friday for Spring Break.
Wanna know where??? Here's a hint...there is a famous house there and another place has a soldier who likes to walk a lot!!
Any guesses????

Back in the grind!

We came back to Stillwater on Saturday. We went to Hastings(a movie rental place) and then to sonic to grab some ice cream. We were leaving sonic and Joe had pulled out of the stall and was fixing to drive forward. Suddenly the car in the opposite stall hits our car. We get out and there's quite a bit of damage to his, but not anything to ours. Joe says "it's not big deal" let's just go....after all HE HIT US!! Then the guys say" oh no the police are on the way and you will pay for my car". He had a BRAND new Lexus SUV just off off the lot, and we have a 98 Chevy cavalier that's on it's last life! Joe says "dude you have got to be kidding me. You hit me". The cop gets there and goes over to the other driver first and tells Joe get the insurance and licence. This lady ran over and said "Are they trying to say you did it"? We said yes and she said she saw it and was going to write a witness report.(Thank God) then her husband writes one too.
While all of this is going on the guy from the other car is being a jerk to the cop. asking "if he's going to give us a ticket"? The cop said its private property and that he cannot do that nor say who's fault it was. The guys says "well my lawyer is in the car and she will handle this"! The cop said "OK but I really could care less and your threatening is not going to help you". SERIOUSLY???? Who takes their lawyer to a drive up fast food restaurant??? Whatever dude!
Needless to say we finally got to leave and immediately called USAA when we got home.

Thanks to everyone who left comments or prayers while I have been dealing with my Grandma. It means a lot. What bothers me is people I do not know try and hug me and console me. Maybe I am being rude, but it's truly how I feel. There has been a couple of people at my work that I really do not know and they have tried to hug me and say"I'm so sorry". It;s weird to me! You do not know me.
Is that wrong? Basically total strangers trying to hug me?
Does anyone else feel that way?

Grandma update

Yesterday was probably the worst day of my life. We went to Joe's grandma's funeral and my grandma passed away yesterday. I am physically and emotionally drained. My grandma's funeral is Wednesday. I get 3 days leave from work. Even though the funeral is an hour away I am going to take the 3 days and spend some time with my family and just time to deal with it all. Both deaths were sudden and unexpected.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate it.

Thoughts and Prayers

My Grandma was put in ICU Monday and Joe's Grandma died this morning. It's just a little tough around here right now. We would appreciate any thoughts and prayers.
Thanks,

I got this as an e-mail so I thought I would pass it along!

Things NOT to say to a military Spouse or Girlfriend!

1. 'Aren't you afraid that he'll be killed?'
(This one ranks in at number one on the 'duh' list. Of course we're afraid. We're terrified. The thought always lingers at the backs of our minds ---but thanks brilliant, you just brought it back to the front. Maybe next you can go ask someone with cancer if they're scared of dying.)

2. 'I don't know how you manage. I don't think I could do it.'
(This is intended to be a compliment. Though, its just a little annoying. Here's why: it's not like all of us military wives have been dreaming since childhood of the day we'd get to be anxious single moms who carry cell phones with us to the bathroom and in the shower. We're not made of some mysterious matter that makes us more capable, we just got asked to take on a challenging job. So we rose to the challenge and found the strength to make sacrifices.)

3. 'At least he's not in Iraq.'
(This is the number one most annoying comment for those whose husbands are in Afghanistan. What do they think is happening in Afghanistan? An international game of golf? Guys are fighting and dying over there.)

4.'Do you think he'll get to come home for Christmas/anniversary/birthday/birth of a child/wedding/family reunion, etc?'(Don't you watch the news? No! They don't get to come home for any of these things. Please don't ask again.)

5.'What are you going to do to keep yourself busy while he's gone?'
(Short answer: Try to keep my sanity. Maybe there's a military wife out there who gets bored when her husband leaves, but I have yet to meet her. For the rest of us, those with and without children, we find ourselves having to be two people. That keeps us plenty busy. We do get lonely, but we don't get bored, and drinking massive amounts of wine always helps keep me busy.)

6. 'How much longer does he have until he can get out?'(This one is annoying to many of us whether our husbands are deployed or not. Many of our husbands aren't counting down the days until they 'can' get out. Many of them keep signing back up again and again because they actually love what they do or they VOLUNTEER AGAIN and AGAIN to go back to Iraq b/c there is work that needs to be done.)

7. 'This deployment shouldn't be so bad, now that you're used to it.'
(Sure, we do learn coping skills and its true the more deployments you've gone through, the easier dealing with it becomes. And we figure out ways to make life go smoother while the guys are gone. But it never gets 'easy' and the bullets and bombs don't skip over our guys just because they've been there before. The worry never goes away.)

8. 'My husband had to go to Europe for business once for three weeks. I totally know what you're going through.'(This one is similar to number two. Do not equate your husband's three week trip to London/Omaha/Tokyo/etc. with a 12-15 month or more deployment to a war zone. Aside from the obvious time difference, nobody shot at your husband or tried to blow him up with an I.E.D., your husband could call home pretty much any time he wanted to, he flew comfortably on a commercial plane, slept between crisp white sheets and ate well, paying for everything with an expense account. There is no comparison. We do not feel bonded to you in the slightest because of this comment and, if anything, we probably resent you a bit for it. Comparing a 12 month combat deployment to a few weeks business trip is like comparing a shitty ford taurus with mercedes convertible.)

9. 'Wow you must miss him?'
(This one also gets antoher big 'duh'. Of course we miss our men. There are some wives who do not and they're now divorced.)

10. 'Where is he exactly? Where is that?'
(I don't expect non-military folks to be able to find Anbar Province on a map, but they should know by now that it's in Iraq. Likewise, know that Kabul and Kandahar are in Afghanistan. Know that Muqtada al Sadr is the insurgent leader of the Mahdi Army in Iraq and that Sadr City is his home area. Know that Iran is a major threat to our country and that it is located between Afghanistan and Iraq. Our country has been at war in Afghanistan for seven years and at war in Iraq for five years. These basic facts are not secrets, they're on the news every night and in the papers every day ---and on maps everywhere.)

11. 'Well, he signed up for it, so it's his own fault whatever happens over there.
(Yes, ignorant ass, he did sign up. Each and every day he protects your right to make stupid comments like that. He didn't sign up and ask to be hit by anything, he signed up to protect his country. Oh, and by the way, he asked me to tell you that 'You're welcome.' He's still fighting for your freedom.)

12. 'Don't you miss sex! I couldn't do it!'
(hmmm, no i don't miss sex. i'm a robot. seriously...military spouses learn quickly that our relationships must be founded on something greater than sex. We learn to appreciate the important things, like simply hearing their voices, seeing their faces, being able to have dinner together every night. And the hard truth is, most relationships probably couldn't withstand 12 months of sex deprivation.)

13. 'Well in my opinion.....'
(Stop right there. Yo, I didn't ask for you your personal political opinions. Hey, I love a heated political debate, but not in the grocery store, not in Jamba Juice, not at Nordstrom, not in a bar when I'm out with my girls trying to forget the war, and CERTAINLY NOT AT WORK. We tell co-workers about deployments so when we have to spend lunch hours running our asses off doing errands and taking care of the house, dog, and kids, they have an understanding. We do not tell co-workers and colleagues because we are giving an invitation to ramble about politics or because we so eagerly want to hear how much they hate the President, esp. while we're trying to heat up our lean cuisines in the crappy office microwaves.)

last but not least....

14. 'OH, that's horrible...I'm so sorry!'
(He's doing his job, he's a badass, and he loves his job. Don't be sorry. Be appreciative and please take a moment out of your comfortable American lives to realize that our soldiers fight the wars abroad so those wars stay abroad.)

If you want to say anything, say thank you. After all, we are sexually deprived for your freedom.

My new love!

So a friend I work with has been talking about Zumba class and how we should go try it. What is Zumba? It is a combination of dancing and aerobics set to latin music. We went 2 weeks ago and it was fun! I could not do all the moves like the instructor but I figured as long as I was moving and sweating that was good, right?!
I went back today and had a BLAST!! The class is an hour long and you dance and sweat the whole time. I am going to download some Zumba music on iTunes and try my best to go every week. If you have not tried it, and it is offered in your area you should go at least once. Who knows you might love it as much as me.:0)

MMMMMazing Muffins!!!

So I got 2 recipes from a really cool lady named V(all my army friends know her!) Anyway, I tried both of them and HELLO they were AMAZING!!!:0) I posted earlier about how I was going to eat a little healthier this year and I LOVE these recipes.

The first one is Pumpkin Muffins
You can use either a box of Carrot Cake or Spice Cake. I chose Carrot Cake.
Box of Carrot Cake
1 Can of pumpkin(Not pie filling)
1C Raisins
1C Walnuts
( I also added about 2TBSP milk because the mix is going to be thick.)
Add the 4 above mentioned in a bowl. DO NOT ADD THE EGGS AND OIL FROM THE CAKE MIX!!!
Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes. They are going to rise quite like a regular muffin, or get as brown, but are still delicious!!!

The second is Lemon Poppy seed Muffins.
1 box of lemon poppy seed muffin mix
1 6oz jar of vanilla yogurt
1 6oz jar of lemon yogurt
(Also 2 TBSP milk to help not be so thick, but not required)
Mix the 3 ingredients together and bake at 425 for 15 minutes. Will not brown like a muffin but will get golden around the edges.
If you want a more lemon taste do 2 lemon yogurts instead of vanilla and if you want to tone down the lemon do 2 vanilla yogurts. I thought they were just right with one of each.

I also just pulled blueberry muffins out of the oven. They were also delicious!! It was a box of muffin mix and 2 jars vanilla yogurt. Might try 1 vanilla and one blueberry next time!!!

Anyway, enjoy them I definitely have!!!:0)

AAAAHHHHHHBBBBLLLAAAAHHHHHHUUUUHHHHH

OK, I totally feel better now! What a day I had at school today! As many of you know I am a TA for a Pre-K class. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my job and I know now that I definitely DO want to be a teacher and have found my calling. I work with the best teacher anyone could ask for. However, today was a day from HELL!! 2 weeks off of school was rough on the 4 year olds and they all seemed to have forgotten A LOT over the break. We took it easy last week and it was pretty mellow. Now I know why...... We have a little girl(she's the youngest in the class) that just whines and cries ALL DAY LONG!!!! She cries if she does not want to do something, if she cannot find something, or if she thinks it's too hard.. It's not really a cry...more like a high pitched whiny voice that says "I can't" and then starts to cry. UUUHHHH I cannot stand whining! This little girl was very spoiled by grandma and grandpa over the break and pretty much did not have to do anything for herself. Now the parents have resorted to also doing it for her so that she will stop crying because they do not want to hear it. But, what they fail to realize is that they are not actually teaching her anything by doing it for her and it only going to get worse. I kind of had a melt down at school today.. I told her to stop whining because I was sick of it..I then had to leave the room and take a few BIG DEEP breaths!!! There were kids in the class holding their ears because they are sick of it!!
So, my moms and teachers out there that read this..... What's your advice? We have mentioned the whining to mom and dad and encouraged them to let her do things for herself but I feel it's getting worse...NOT better! Now what?
Also any advice on keeping my sanity??

No Resolution...just better

SO, I am not a fan of New Year's Resolutions. I do not know anyone that sticks to them and so they are just a waste of time. I AM however going to try and do something better this year. I am going to cook a little more organic food this year and healthier recipes. I have been searching the net for new stuff and have even tried a few. In the spring I am going to grow a garden and I am going to try and grow fresh herbs too. I want to cook with fresh spices whenever possible.

On another note, I sold another book AND Joe told me today that I can sell some of his books now that he sees that I have sold 3 totalling $130.00. So, after the doctors apt tomorrow(had a cold for a week now....) I am going to list his books too!

Have a great weekend!

WOW!!! It worked!!

I was looking around and decided there were a few textbooks that I could part with. So, I went to half.com(it's powered by eBay) and I listed about 4 books. I thought nothing of it, and then yesterday I sold one and a few minutes ago I checked again, and I sold another one! I cannot believe it. It actually worked. I made about $105.00 between the 2 books.:0) I am SUPER excited and HOPE the other 2 sell too. I tried to sell some of Joe's books, but he would not part with them! Maybe I can talk him into it once he sees that I got paid.

PS We got a Wii...it's super cool! (It was our Christmas to each other)

What a day!!!

Let me just tell you about my day yesterday! As you all know I work in the school system as a teachers assistant. We were at PE yesterday. 2 kids ran into each other. One hit their head, the other busted his lip open. So I walk the kid down the hall trying to calm him down without him touching me, (Blood and snot on hands). We are almost to the office when I stop for a second and look away from the child. He then grabs my hand and now I have his blood and snot on me. We got to the office and I immediately SCRUB my hands. I eve pour almost a whole;e bottle of peroxide on my hand. We get him an ice pack and all is good. I take him back to class and tell the teacher I work with what happened. She asked me if I had Hepatitis shot? I said no. She says go now to the nurse and see about getting one. So.... I go. I tell her what happened and as I am telling the story about him grabbing my hand I raise it up. She FREAKS out because she sees a cat scratch on my hand. She tells me that this is an "exposure". His blood or snot could have made its way into my cat scratch. OK....really not freaking out. Whatever. I get a Hepatitis shot and then am told I have to go and have my blood as well as the child's blood tested for Hepatitis and HIV. GREAT!! Now you are annoying me and inconveniencing me. So I go to the most germ invested crowded clinic and wait..... I go see a doc he looks at my hand. Gives me an antibiotic, and then I have to go down to the lab for blood work.
I go tell the nurse the usual ....bad veins...use a baby needle..blah blah blah. I guess she could tell that I was annoyed because she says to me" you should just consider that all blood is bad blood." I say "OK". She then goes on to tell me that 2 weeks ago she tested a 26yd old female positive for Hepatitis C THEN tells me that a 15 yr old girl tested positive for HIV. I got teary eyed. Not because she scared me, but because there is a 15 yr old in my town with AIDS. She is SO young. I leave and go back to work. My kids are at lunch and the grandma comes to get the boy so he can go get his blood drawn. She then proceeds to lip off to one of the nurses that "shouldn't she be worried about what her grandchild can get from the teacher, NOT what the child gave to me"? HELLO???? Did I bleed and snot all over YOUR kid??? NO!! He did it to me! I should be worried NOT you. (On a side note the mom has about 5 piercings in her face at at least 4 tattoos that I can see on her body when she comes to get her child). So yeah...please worry about me! WHATEVER!!!
I was just annoyed all day after that. But...I got the 1st of 3 shots I have to get for hepatitis. LUCKY ME!!!:0)

OR NOT.....

We are having family Christmas with my brother and his wife and my parents tomorrow. I realized this evening that the presents were not wrapped. So....I got the boxes all ready and went to the garage for some wrapping paper. There is no wrapping paper so I went a little"green" this year! I have brown paper and ribbon that I found in the house and improvised.
This is a picture of the final projects

I wrote earlier that I was not going to do a tree this year. However, I came home to one! Joe decided to put it up and do the lights before I got home. We did the ornaments together! Here's a picture of the tree.

Hope you guys have a great weekend! 11 days til Christmas!! It's supposed to snow here tonight...fun fun!!

It's begining to look at lot like....I hate this crap!

OK, so got the day off today. We got ice and sleeting yesterday. I am actually disappointed that we are off. The more we are out now the longer we are in school in May.YUCK!!! I am not a big fan of ice and sleet.I am already ready for it to be over!
But, on the flip side I laid on the couch all day, took 2 naps, watch Dr. Phil and Oprah(which I never get to do!) and was completely lazy today.:0)

Also, I decided no Christmas tree this year. We are not going to be here and we don't have kiddos, so it seemed like a waste of time......maybe next year.

Family Pics

The 28th of October we did family pics with Joe's side of the family. I loved them and I thought they turned out great, but the mother-in-law did not like them. Oh well! Guess we cannot please them all! I am going to give them to my side of the family for Christmas. Tell me what you think! P.S. Walmart did a bad job of putting the negatives on a CD so the pics have things on them...but not on the real pics.

My most interesting cake yet!

I just finished a cake tonight and I am voting it my most interesting! It is a wedding shower cake. They did not want any writing on it, just to resemble the decoration thing they gave me. So....I am going to show you the decoration thing. If the dress looks weird it's because it's one of those fan things, where it opens. Anyway, the next picture is my finished product. Tell me what you think? Did I replicate it ok? I have been busy with a few more cakes. I will make them a seperate blog and show them too

This should make you laugh!

OK, so Thursday night Joe and I and some friends decide to go out to the "strip". That's where all the bars are in stillwater. We had never been to any of them. It was a LONG day and I had a Pampered Chef party earlier that evening. We decided to take 2 cars since I knew I would want to come home WAY before them. SO... I go get ready to leave the bar at midnight and I cannot find my keys. Joe finally gave me his and said just leave the front door unlocked.. I go out to the car, get it unlocked, and begin to look for my keys. I finally find them in the ignition. GOOD! I found them....but wait? What's that sound? Is that MY car? OH YES IT IS!!! I left my car running for 2 and 1/2 hours while I was in the bar!! That's right! I locked all the doors, turned off the headlights, and never took the keys out of the ignition. I have officially LOST IT!!!:0)

Bit off more than I can chew....

I am completely overwhelmed with my school work. I got up at 8:30 this morning and worked until 3:00 on homework. I took a break at 3 to make a cake for Joe(birthday tomorrow) and then back to studying. I have been looking all over this weekend for my school bag. I have a VERY important test tomorrow in Spanish and need to spend the evening studying. So Joe and I destroy the house before I remember that I forgot it at school. No, bueno. I am now completely screwed and will have about 1 hour tomorrow night before the test to study. OH CRAP!! So...do I drop the class because I am overwhelmed or do I suck up the F I am going to make on the test? I am crying about it and Joe is no help. He says do whatever. I managed to find a few sheets of paper that had fallen out of my bag, so I had a few things to look over....not near enough. So, it's now 9pm and I REALLY want to go to bed....BUT I also forgot that I had to make a cheesecake for tomorrow. So...here I sit overwhelmed, tired(and hungry) waiting for an hour for a cheesecake to bake! UUUUHHHHHHHHHH Someone PLEASE tell me why I should stay in school? I am starting to wonder if it is all worth it?

No, no me gusta espanol

I HATE SPANISH!!!!!! As many of you know, school just started back up and I am already overwhelmed! I am taking Spanish, geography, nutrition, and earth science. Yeah 15 hours and a full-time job and own a business! Now you see why we do not have kids yet?!:0) I am trying to study my Spanish numbers. I have to write, say and know 0-30 for Monday. YUCK!!!! I hate it!!!!:0(
Anyway, a lot of you have asked about my new job? LOVE IT!!!!!! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!! It was the best decision I could have made. I went from a totally stressed out job all the time to no stress and all fun!:0)

Anyway, guess I'll go back to Spanish now.......wish me luck!

Number 27

So this past Friday(the 17th) I celebrated birthday number 27. I thought "eh just another day!" I was hoping that Joe would be home for it, if not we would celebrate it late. He DID come home for my birthday! I got woken up from my nap after work to a gorgeous man in ACUs carrying a dozen red roses!:0) My kids at school sang to me about 10 times that day. It was cute though. So I got to thinking...what is so great about turning 27??? Well I figured two things. I am hoping to graduate at 29...so I am 2 years from graduation( roughly!) and I want to be a mommy at 30...so I am another year closer to that goal too!:0) Overall it was a great birthday and I cannot wait for next years 363 days from now!
Have a great week!!!!!

New Job

So Monday August 13th I start a new job. What was wrong with my old one? Nothing!!! I was perfectly happy and content at my job. I got a phone call though asking me if I was interested in a TA in the school system. As most of you know I am currently going to school to be a teacher. I could not pass up this opportunity. I want to be in the school system to see how things work, to have a mentor and to model my own career after the teachers I will work with. I am totally scared and excited at the same time.
The only down fall to me leaving my job is I loose the scholarship that was paying for my school 100%. BUT...I am not stressing! God will provide the money for school. I am going to find other scholarships or whatever.

Have a great weekend!:0)

OK ,so let me tell you about all the baking/ decorating I have to do with weekend. I have to make 2 dozen cupcakes tomorrow night. I have a wedding cake, groom's cake, and a baby shower cake on Saturday and another baby shower cake on Sunday. Needless to say, I will be pulling an all nighter on Friday night. I will post some pics of the cakes probably early next week. (after I get some rest!)
So I know all of my army friends are going to tell me to quit bitching...but this whole Joe being gone thing is getting really old!!!! I am SO BORED!!! I was so desperate for something to do, I babysat tonight just to get out of the house.:0)
Anyway, hope you guys have a great rest of the week and wish me luck with all my up and coming cakes!:0)

It has been 3 weeks and I am READY to see him!!! I have a feeling though that the next 2 days at work will be LONG since I am so anxious.:0) I bought some red patten leather high heels for his graduation...might have to wear them before then!! Anyway, hope you all have a happy and safe 4th of July.

My first wedding cake

Ok, so this last weekend I did my first wedding cake! I did not actually get to assemble it, because it was an outside wedding and they were afraid it would melt if it set outside. Anyway, here are the pictures. It was A LOT of fun but A LOT of work! I made all the flowers by hand. The flowers are in order by the 3 layers. The last pic is just pic of the flowers I made. Anyway, tell me what you guys think!:0)

Wednesday, June 13, 2007

I thought I was past all of this!

So I took Joe to Ft. Sill on Monday for a 9 week drill Sgt school. I am so sad. For some reason this 9 weeks is a little hard on me. I sat at Ft. Sill for 4 and 1/2 hours in the heat waiting for Joe to come and get his stuff out of the car... I was miserable.
Anyway, I am going to be a little lonely the next 9 weeks so I could use my peeps to keep my spirits up!:0)

Taking a break from government....

I am studying for a government test I have tomorrow. Not too terribly hard...Joe just had the SAME class last semester!:0) It's on-line and open book!
Anyway, if you guys have not heard about ...Rosie O'Donnell is an idiot. I am so disgusted with her. She thinks that our soldiers are the terrorists and that we killed over 650,000 "innocent" Iraqi's. I highly doubt that the military killed all 650,000. Aren't they declaring Iraq a civil war? Meaning that they are killing their own people? I think that what Rosie is doing is treason. If she loves the Iraqi people SO much...THEN BY ALL MEANS GET THE HELL OUT OF THE UNITED STATES. Our husbands, fathers, brothers, and uncles did not fight for this beautiful country for people like you. I am banning all things Rosie. Any show she does, anything that has to do with that nasty pig that she is.

My Camping adventure

So I just got home about an hour ago from a weekend of camping. I took a shower to find something VERY disterbing on my stomach. A TICK!!!! WHY did God create the tick? What is the point of such a nasty, nasty creature? Can anyone tell me what animal or plant benifits from a tick?
Anyway, back to my adventure.
Joe and I and 5 of his buddies went camping. I was the only girl( in the beginning!) I am actually SO glad that I went. Those boys needed a lot of help! They definitely needed me and all of the things that I actually remembered to bring! Don't get me started on trying to help them put their tents up! We went fishing yesterday Joe got 2 little fish. One of them he caught the fish by his side...that was weird!
I am so tired I am very sleep deprived! I got about 3 hours of sleep both nights. My air mattress did not stay inflated so I slept on the awesome hard ground both nights. Anyway, better get out of here. I have laundry to do.
Have a great week!:0)

Random stuff

Ok so I got 2 A's and 2B's this semester! I was guessing 3 A's and a C... I was close!:0) Anyway, my grandma is in the rehabilitation part of the hosptail now. She seems to get a little bit better every day, although her memory is still bad. She fell out of bed this weekend, so now they are keeping a closer eye on her. My mom saw the bill from the hospital(before insurance) it was 120,000.00 THAT IS CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hospitals and doctors are making WAY TOO much and some of them give horrible service, but still get the big bucks.

As you may know I started a cake business in december. Although I do not have pictures of all of the cakes I have done, I posted a few on here. THe last one(Dora)is the first cake that we did. I am having a blast and the business is growing! Anyway, tell me what you think!:0)

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH( Taking a deep breath)

So this semester is officially over!:0) YEAH!!!!! I don't think I could take mush more of my science class! I am taking 3 classes this summer but I have about a 3 week break until then. This summer it's government, history(American after 1865) and Intro to Lit(Which I have a l ready done, but they won't take:0(. .) Anyway, for the moment I survived! I had a 4.0 last semester....probably not this semester! I will probably have 3 A's and C. Oh well! They can't all be easy!

Gonna go do laundry.....have a great week!

2nd Update

OK, so here's another update. My grandpa had hip replacement surgery last week. The other grandpa had a stint put in. Both surgeries were good. My Grandma is out of ICU and finally in a normal room. They took her off of her ventilator on Friday morning. She is breathing on her own.:0) Yeah!!!! Also, she talked to me on the phone. Yep, she said Hi and told me she liked her new room. I cried and cried after I talked to her. I was SO happy! I never thought that I would get to do that.
Anyway, the semester is almost over. I think I am going to come out with 3 A's and a C. I am fine with the C...I do not like the class....... SCIENCE SUCKS!!!!:0)
Anyway, have a great weekend and enjoy the nice weather. It's raining here(again)

Update on my grandma

Things are so so. On Thursday(March 29th) they took out my grandma's ventilator. She was doing good breathing on her own. Well Sunday(April 1st) they called and said they are putting it back in. I guess her pneumonia is getting a lot worse and it was exhausting her too much to breath on her own. So...... now we are just hoping that they can fight this pneumonia. PLEASE continue to pray for her. My grandma's name is DeLanne for anyone that is interested. Also, my step grandpa's son still has not woken up from his coma. (He fell the night my grandma was put in the hospital and had a blood clot in his brain.)

The Worst Spring Break EVER

OK so let me try to explain my last week to you. Joe and I left Friday, March 16th for Wisconsin. That's right Wisconsin. There were 7 of us in an 8 passenger SUV for 18 hours. I was in the very back with no room AT ALL and all the luggage around me. I have taken MANY road trips...that was the worst! So we get there Saturday afternoon. I meet Joe's 94 yr old grandma and other relatives. Sunday was ok...a little cold. I got to see Green Bay and see where my mother-in-law grew up.
Monday morning at 7am I got a call from my mom. My grandma had a heart attack and is unconscious and in ICU. She is in ICU because she went without oxygen to the brain for 20 minutes. I try to go on with my day without crying. Try to do a little shopping. I get a phone call Monday afternoon that Joe and I need to fly home things are not good. So I call the airlines and get a red eye out. Joe did not come(LONG story that I'll explain later). So I get on a plane Monday evening, trying to hold myself together. I arrived at midnight and went up to the ICU. Things were looking bad.
Tuesday same as before, not good. The doctors were asking my mom/aunt about a living will. Tuesday night my cousin, aunt, friend and I were in her room. We all got together and prayed over her and sang hymns to her.
Wednesday morning we were still at my aunts when the phone rang. The neurologist called. They are getting a few reflexes out of her. We get up there and she opens her eyes. We are all starting to feel a little hope.
Thursday she is moving her right and left arms and wiggling her toes. She even smiles at you.
Friday Joe arrives in from Wisconcin. She slept all day long b/c they say she's worn out and breathed all day on her own.
Yesterday(Saturday) She is smiling, moving a lot, even trying to take out her breathing tubes. Doing very well.
Today they said she's breathing 70% on her won. If she can maintain it for a few more days they will take her breathing tube out.
I am SO EXCITED!!!! This has definitely renewed my faith and thought on prayer. The doctors say that they have never seen a patient go with out oxygen for 20 minutes and do the things she is doing. I am feeling hopeful about her recovery and ask that you all continue to pray for my grandma.

A New Attitude

OK ,so I had 2 job interviews and I heard nothing back from either one. I decided that there was a reason that God has me at my current job and I should look for the best in it. So....I am now trying to find the good in things and actually doing some"sprucing up" of the center and my classroom.
ON a happier note. In the 6 weeks since I started back to the gym I have lost 13 inches total. When you start there they measure like 8 different points. (Upper chest, lower chest, waist, hips...........) I was SO SO SO excited when they told me! I knew I would have a few b/c things are fitting differently, but I never would have guessed 13. I actually have to go bra shopping next weekend b/c my"boys" are disappearing.:0(
Anyway, not much else going on around here. I am BUSY BUSY BUSY with school. I decided that since Joe will be gone for 7 weeks this summer(Drill Sgt school) I am going to do summer school. I know! Call me crazy!:0)

Mini Mid life crisis????

Is it possible to have a mini mid-life crisis? If so, I truly believe that I am having one! My life is SO busy and hectic that I seriously do not even have time to think. I have recently put out applications for a new job. After working in childcare for 5 years, I am on the verge of a mental break down!(NO...I WON'T SHAVE MY HEAD....DON'T WORRY!)
I have come to realize that I am at a point in my life that if it means either choosing to be a lead teacher or focus on my school, I would walk away from my job at any minute. I am SO tired all the time. Chasing 12 3 year olds around all day long is starting to get to me. Plus, trying to keep up with my school work.
I know I know...when I am a mom I am going to be even more tired than I am now. I know all of this! I am just afraid that if I continue to work in childcare I will seriously consider NEVER having my own.
I know that I do not want to do this forever(childcare). I WANT to be a teacher. I applied to be a TA(Teacher's Assistant) with the school system. I want something new. I want a teacher to take me under their wing and me my mentor. I want to learn about the school system and what it is going to be like when I have my own classroom. BUT.....here's the problem! This is a college town. People that get their degrees and cannot find work right away become TAs until they do. SO......Automatically they out qualify me for the job. :0(
I had one interview last week and I could tell that they made up their minds before I was even interviewed. My interview today was good. I felt better about it, but I was the 1st interview of 5 for 1 position!!!!!! Sorry I am just frustrated and venting(if you could not already guess). I WANT a new job. but I think that it's not going to be easy getting a new job. I do not have my degree yet so I am at a huge disadvantage.
Any thoughts??? Suggestions? Ideas on how to make my job suck less?
I LOVE kids and I want to work with kids....but I do not want my current job to burn me out.........HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Just Celebrated number 4

On Thursday Feb.8th Joe and I celebrated our four year anniversary. I cannot believe that it has been 4 years!!! Where has the time gone?
We got each other Colts jerseys for the Super Bowl so our actual anniversary was not much. We went out to eat and then went and bought a new Ipod. Then came home and did homework and went to sleep. Gee...we are so fun huh?!
I tried twice to upload some pics from our wedding. They wouldn't. Maybe I 'll try again later.

I stole this from E

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The West

Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.

I AM COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am cold!!!! It was 8 degrees here last night and I high of 19 today. We had sleet and freezing rain this weekend.(from Friday til Sunday). There were an estimated 170,00 with out power over the weekend. Thank God we were not one of them. The schools are STILL closed at least until Thursday(possibly Friday). Driving conditions are terrible. Unlike snow, ice does not move off of the roads or even melt away very quickly. I drove about 20 today and that was causing me to slide! I work 15 minutes from work. It took me 45 today. I HATE this weather, but I have to agree with my friend E...I would rather be cold than hot any day!

Back in the grind.....

So my spring semester of classes started monday. I am not too sure how much I am going to like this semester! I am little overwhelmed by the amount of homework already assigned.
Joe and I both decided to make New Years resolutions. Joe has quit tobacco(YAY!!!!!!) He has gone 11 days now tobacco free. I am EXTREMELY proud of him. I need ideas for a good 1 month free gift? My resolution is that I am going to get back into shape. My goal is to loose 30 pounds. I joined a gym on wednesday. I am SSSSOOOOO sore today! But my trainer promises that I will loose 1 to 3 dress sizes in 5 weeks. That makes all the pain worth it!:0)
My cake business it going ok. We are starting to get busy. We have 4 cakes this month. I will put pictures of the cakes soon.
Well I better run. I have to read for school and don't want to miss ER!!!! Have a wonderful weekend!:0)

Miserable....

So I woke up yesterday to only being able to open one eye. The other one was crusted shut(NOT a good thing!) I go into the bathroom, wash off the crusty stuff, and then see the reddest eye I have ever seen. I instantly know what it is......pink eye. I called work and went to the doctor. They confirmed too that it was pink eye. They told me to take the day off. So I sat around the house all day long. I washed all the bedding, towels and clothes that I wore on tuesday. I accidentally fell asleep and woke up to the goo from my eye running down my face. (SORRY if you have a weak stomach.) I thought crap....that cannot be good! It wasn't....I woke up to BOTH eyes crusted shut this morning. I now have pink eye in BOTH eyes. UUUUHHHHHHH.
I am just hoping that it clears up by Sunday, otherwise what crappy New Year for me!

Hanging in there...

So I just got back a few hours ago from Tammy's house. My friend and I took over some dinner to the house. Tammy is doing better than we expected. She said that she had a really bad morning, because it was the first time she has been left alone since before her husband was in the hospital. The funeral is friday and she still has a lot to do between now and then. Her husband was in the military for 22 years so it will be a military funeral. Her son and grandson are going to be moving home so that they can be with her. She thinks it will help, plus she does not want to be alone.
Please just continue to keep her in your thought and prayers.

Another Prayer Request

I am writing to ask that you keep one of my fellow employees in your prayers. A week ago today her husband wrecked his truck into a house. Once taken to the hospital they discovered that he has 2 brain aneurysms. There was a lot of fluid on the brain and he has been on life support. His condition has continued to worsen over the week. Today the doctors ran some tests and discovered that he is brain dead and there is no blood flowing to the brain. They are going to take him off of life support today. He just turned 50. They have 3 children and 1 grandchild. My employees name is Tammy.
Please just keep Tammy and her children in your thoughts and prayers. I know that with Christmas right around the corner the family is going to have a very difficult time.

Thanks, Rox

My LOVE for ebay!

Ok let me try and start from the beginning on this one. My husband LOVES the Indianapolis Colts(NFL Football Team). So...as his"leaving the Army" present I bought him 2 tickets to the Dallas Cowboys/ Colts game the is scheduled for Sunday the 19th. GREAT...he LOVED them and I was actually getting pumped about the game. I bought the stuff to make a t-shirt for the game and everything.
THEN..... He joined the Reserves and yep, you guessed it! He has drill this weekend! We probably could have gotten sunday off if we had not had to have gone to the funeral last month.
Anyway, back to ebay. I decided to try and sell them on ebay. I thought maybe they would sell and we would not have to eat the 228.00 for the tickets. I took pics of the tickets and crossed my fingers about selling them. THEY SOLD IN 13 MINUTES!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! I was SHOCKED that they sold so fast. We got 225.00 for them and after paying ebay and paypal we got 219.00.
I am glad we sold them and I am now going to start looking around the house to see what else I can sell!:0)
So....if you have not sold on ebay, you should try it! You just never know!!!!

Trying to fit in......

So, as you all know I am attending night school. I LOVE being in school BUT I am starting to realize that I do not fit in. There are younger 20 year olds in my class that are not married and women in their 40s that are mothers and have had a career for years. One of the younger ladies in my class IS a mom. We were talking about our childhoods and when it came to my turn I told them that I lived a normal childhood. Nothing bad happened to me. My parents are still married, I did not party in high school. I have never smoked or done drugs. I did not even drink until I was 21. For some reason she got all mad and was telling me that I am not normal and I was just a spoiled little rich girl. EXCUSE ME???? So b/c I was raised in a good home and my parents love me, some how that transfers to being a "spoiled little rich girl".... I just let it go but now she's really rude to me and even followed me home the other night. She was driving on my tail with her bright lights on. CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!! So anyway, back to what I was saying. I am having a hard time making friends or even finding someone to talk to during class.
Maybe next semester.......

Bitter-Sweet weekend.

This past weekend my husband and I took a 15 hour road trip to Greenup, Kentucky for his best friend's funeral. The drive up was not bad. We made it from Stillwater to Uniontown, KY the first day. Joe's father is buried there along with is grandfather. His father grew up there and so I got to see the farm and the gravesite of his father. We met up with Joe's "uncle" Rodney. Uncle Rodney is Joe's godfather and his father's best friend. He told us stories about Joe's dad and I am starting to discover that Joe is a lot like his father!
The next morning we got up and traveled the last 6 hours across Kentucky to Greenup. Kentucky and Missouri are SO PRETTY in the fall. The trees were amazing! The funeral was VERY hard and sad on the both of us. There were several other 2/2 guys that were there so it was great to see them and to spend time with them. My 2 best girlfriends came with their husbands so it was AWESOME to get to see them, although I wish it were under different circumstances. My friend Jen has a 10 month old that I got to see for the first time. He's ADORABLE!!!!!(and looks like his mommy...thank god):0)
The car ride home sucked because this time we did it in 1 day instead of 2. The last hour before home I could not keep my eyes open....thank god Joe was driving...but I was no help to keep him awake! The ride up and back was great. Joe and I got a long perfectly and we actually got to talk to each other. Since I work all day and take night classes it is kind of hard sometimes to have a quality conversation time.
Please continue to keep Garth's wife and parents in your prayers.
Thanks

Prayer Request

Hello. I am very sad trying to write this letter. My husband's best friend died yesterday in Iraq. I ask that you pray for the soldiers family, his Russian wife that is in Germany by herself, and for my husband. He is very sad. They were in Iraq the first time together.
Thanks,
Roxxi
